Common questions

Will a box fit my car?
Almost certainly yes. We have bars and adapters for the vast majority of cars — from small hatchbacks to large SUVs. Just send us the make, model and year and we'll confirm the mounting.
How much fits in a box?
A small box (~320 l) holds 4–5 pairs of skis or 3–4 medium cases. A large box (~450–600 l) carries a family for a week plus longer skis and snowboards. Tell us what you're packing and we'll recommend a size.
Do I have to fit it myself?
No. We mount the box and bars on your car for free and show you how it works. In Prague we can also deliver and fit at your place. We take it off on return.
How much does it raise fuel use?
Expect roughly 10–20% higher consumption at motorway speed, depending on box shape and load. Aerodynamic boxes and sensible speed shrink the gap. Once you return the box, consumption is back to normal.
What's the deposit and what do I need?
A refundable deposit of 3,000–6,000 CZK by model, returned when you bring the undamaged box back. An ID and driving licence are enough to collect it.
How long can I rent for?
From a single day to several weeks. The longer the rental, the lower the daily rate — first day free on longer bookings. In peak season (summer and winter holidays) we recommend booking ahead.
